Objective

  1. Maintain ongoing dialogue with stakeholders to align research and training in circular economy with their needs.
  2. Contribute to governmental discussions.
  3. Develop a program of events (forums, conferences, workshops, congresses, etc.) and activities for knowledge dissemination, exchanges, and training aimed at reaching diverse audiences.

Examples of Research Questions and Issues

  • How can we contribute to Quebec’s transition to an innovative, productive, resilient, and self-sufficient economy within the framework of the circular economy?
  • How can we address the ecological, climate, and post-pandemic crises while promoting the circular economy?
  • How can we raise awareness of the circular economy among key stakeholders (business sector, cooperatives, social economy, unions, consumer associations, environmentalists, learned societies, philanthropists, circular economy experts, governments)?
  • What methods can be used to integrate the perspectives and needs of different stakeholders into the transition to a circular economy?
  • How can a beneficial collaboration be established with the circular economy acceleration lab ecosystem (ELEC) as a mechanism combining action research and knowledge transfer?
