Description

This project identifies consumer acceptability of products promoting skins and furs from slaughter, hunting and trapping (eco-responsible leathers and furs). The specific objectives are as follows:

  1. Compare the functioning of the main leather and fur sectors in the world with regard to the marketing of leather and fur products, and the place of eco-responsibility in these sectors;
  2. Determine the position of consumers with regard to the criteria of social acceptability of leather and fur products, their sensitivity to the different discourses that promote the circular economy or awareness of animal realities;
  3. Evaluate consumer interest and requirements for eco-responsible leather and fur products;
  4. Determine the type of leather and fur product that should be favored and the main communication guidelines for these products.
