The circular economy model comprises 12 strategies. The first strategies aim to reduce the amount of virgin resources consumed. Next are the “short loop” strategies, which aim to intensify use and extend the life of products. Finally, there are those that give resources a new lease of life.
Implementing a more sustainable and circular model requires an interdisciplinary scientific approach. The Network’s strength lies in the wide variety of expertise among its members.
