Description

This project aims to explore the feasibility of implementing a sustainability index for household appliances and electronics in Canada, with a view to improving consumer information. Inspired by European approaches, the initiative seeks to identify the conditions necessary for the development, display and adoption of such a tool, drawing on an analysis of international best practices and the perspectives of key players. The aim is to lay the foundations for a tool that encourages more informed consumer choices and supports the transition to a more circular economy.
