Description

How are Quebec SMEs addressing issues related to the circular economy? How are they developing circular economy initiatives? How do they acquire the knowledge and skills to contribute substantially to the circular transition in Quebec? To answer these questions, this research project aims to explore the role of learning and trial-and-error dynamics in the engagement of Quebec SMEs in circular economy experiments. Collective learning generates joint, concerted, and systemic actions. Based on surveys and interviews with Quebec SMEs involved in circular economy projects, this project will attempt to show how SMEs acquire new skills, resources, and knowledge, how they adopt circular transition practices, and ultimately, how they transform and adapt to the circular economy.
