The RRECQ is launching a new series of webinars on the intersection of economics and the circular economy: Circular Economy in Economics seminars, the CEEminars.

Led in collaboration with the Distributional Effects of Circular Economy Policies (DECEP) initiative, this Quebec-France-Switzerland partnership will bring together world-renowned economists whose pioneering contributions will help shape the direction of research on the circular economy and enhance its visibility within the broader economic community.

This series will provide a platform to consolidate cutting-edge knowledge, stimulate critical debate, and position the circular economy as a key field within environmental and resource economics.

This event will take place starting in September 2027, on the third Thursday of every month, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Quebec (5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Europe). An online option will be available, as well as in-person attendance at ZHAW University in Switzerland every other month.

Check the upcoming dates and speakers, and sign up on the event page.

This initiative is led by Sophie Bernard, co-chair of RRECQ’s Research Axis 4, and Julie Metta, a member of the RRECQ. The seminars will be facilitated by Sophie during the local sessions and by Julie during the sessions at ZHAW University.

The RRECQ is supported by the Fonds de recherche du Québec.
