Biography

Looking for a research assistant

Éric Mateu-Huon, Adm.A., is a teacher-researcher at Cégep André-Laurendeau, where he shares his expertise in management and entrepreneurship. A researcher with the Réseau de recherche en économie circulaire du Québec (RRECQ), he explores the impact of the circular economy on employment and training.

With over 25 years' experience, he has held strategic positions at Mouvement Desjardins and managed an innovative company in eco-energy technologies. Co-inventor of 12 international patents in energy efficiency applied to data centers, he combines technological expertise with a sustainable vision.

A specialist in digital transformation and the circular economy, he studies the impact of automation and technological innovation on work, entrepreneurship and skills adaptation. He actively contributes to the evolution of college programs to prepare the next generation of skilled workers for the challenges of sustainable transition.

With a master's degree in management and sustainable development (HEC Montréal) and a bachelor's degree in education (UQÀM), he applies this knowledge to his teaching and research, integrating sustainability and skills development issues.

Vice-Chairman of Lab22's Board of Directors, he supports initiatives aimed at mobilizing young people and citizens around major social and environmental issues. A committed lecturer and active member of the Think Tank Futuribles International, he contributes to the strategic thinking of the Futuribles Group.
