437 – RRECQ x CRISES Symposium: Perspectives on Social Innovation and the Circular Economy (with Call for papers)
Please note the symposium will be in French.
By combining the perspectives of the circular economy (CE) and social innovation (SI), this symposium aims to explore an integrated approach to meeting today’s environmental, economic and social challenges. Beyond resource management, the CE implies a systemic transformation of production and consumption patterns. As for SI, it proposes innovative and inclusive arrangements for reinventing our socio-economic systems.
The Réseau de recherche en économie circulaire du Québec (RRECQ) and the Social and Collective Organizations Axis of the Centre de recherche sur les innovations sociales (CRISES) invite researchers, practitioners, decision-makers and citizens to submit their paper proposals.
This symposium will take place on May 8, 2025, at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal, and online, as part of the ACFAS Congress.
The symposium will focus on two main themes:
- Circular economy organizational practices in social innovation and contributing to social and environmental justice;
- Territorial and citizen dynamics for a fair and circular transition.
