Description

At the intersection of geography, urban economics, and circular city studies, this project aims to analyze the spatial distribution of retail businesses and services that promote product lifespan extension (e.g., resale, repair) and usage optimization (e.g., rental services) within the Longueuil agglomeration. It is part of one of the RRECQ’s initiatives to enhance the understanding of territorial dynamics related to circular economy (CE) activities in urban contexts, aligning with Theme B1 (territorial perspectives on CE). This understanding of territorial dynamics is particularly crucial for guiding future urban planning and policies to support the development of CE, a central objective of the Network’s Axis 4 (policy levers and governance).
