Frances Edmonds et Pascale Gontier – Product-as-a-Service (PaaS): an economical way to circularity leadership
[English webinar] On April 15, the lunch break will be an opportunity to learn about HP Canada's functional economy strategy.
The Product-as-a-Service (PaaS) model is emerging as a promising lever for accelerating the transition to a circular economy, despite its limited use.
In this webinar, HP Canada will present the measurable impacts of PaaS on environmental performance and managing equipment lifecycles, using technology procurement as a representative use case. The approach will be discussed from the perspective of responsible purchasing practices, resource optimization, and organizational performance.
This webinar aims to provide information on the PaaS model and equip stakeholders who wish to integrate acquisition models compatible with sustainability and circularity objectives.
You will learn:
- principles and relevance of acquiring technologies as a service;
- concrete examples of implementing PaaS in an organizational context;
- environmental, operational, and economic benefits observed;
- main lessons from the new CELC and BCIT white paper on PaaS.
