Biography

Wendy Rodriguez has over 10 years' experience in formulating and processing polymers of natural origin to develop new materials and characterize them. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre de recherche sur les matériaux avancés (CERMA) at Université Laval in 2015-2016, a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (2019-2020) and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institut d'Innovations en Écomatériaux, Écoproduits et Écoénergies (I2E3) at UQTR in 2021. Her research focuses on the valorization of alternative biomass for the development of new products, including innovative packaging and other sustainable applications.
