Biography

Steeve Massicotte is an associate professor in the Department of Accounting at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), co-director of the Research Laboratory on Organizational Accounting Information (LaRICO), and a CPA. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences (Accounting) from Laval University, and his work focuses primarily on governance, management control systems, the strategic involvement of boards of directors, and organizational performance.

His research has been published in several renowned academic journals, including The British Accounting Review, the Journal of General Management, and the Australian Accounting Review. His recent work also explores the governance of territories in transition, the circular economy, and the interdisciplinary dynamics between strategy, governance, and sustainable development.

In addition to his research activities, he actively participates in several scientific and research committees at UQTR and collaborates with various institutional and cross-sectoral partners.
