Biography

Michelle Mongo is a senior lecturer specializing in the economics of innovation at Mines Saint Étienne, Institut Henri Fayol, and is attached to the Coactis research laboratory (Lyon 2 and Saint-Etienne Universities). Her research focuses on the relationship between economics, innovation and sustainable development. More specifically, Michelle Mongo's research focuses on innovation as a modality of action for ecological transition. Her research focuses on the nature of innovations (environmental vs. frugal), the processes involved in their emergence, adoption and dissemination, and their systemic impacts in different geographical contexts (North/South).
