Biography
Marlybell Ochoa Miranda, M.Env., is a consultant specializing in the circular economy, integrated waste management, and environmental compliance. She holds a master’s degree in Environment and Sustainable Development from the University of Montreal, a DESS in environmental law, and a bachelor’s degree in ecology. Her professional career, developed in Quebec and Colombia, has led her to work in the fields of environmental management, environmental regulation, auditing, compliance, and continuing education.
She is a research associate with the Quebec Circular Economy Research Network (RRECQ), within the “Values, Transitions, and Change Management” research track. She was responsible for the Roadmap for the Transition to a Circular Economy in Quebec Society 2025–2050, where she helped coordinate the forward-looking process, engage stakeholders, synthesize contributions, and draft the final report.
She is the author and co-author of various publications and contributions on the circular economy, integrated waste management, socio-ecological transition, and knowledge transfer.
Her research interests include the circular economy, socio-ecological transition, participatory foresight, environmental compliance, and knowledge transfer.
