Biography

Professor Carret is a junior professor at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). He works in the Construction Engineering Department at ÉTS, specializing in pavement materials and structures. The primary objective of his research is to help reduce the environmental footprint of Quebec's pavement industry. As such, he is working on various projects aimed at valorizing different post-consumer or bio-based materials (lignin, asphalt shingles, etc.) in pavement materials, developing greener and more sustainable methods for pavement rehabilitation, and is an expert in the laboratory characterization of these materials.
