Biography

Hamid Lamoudan is a member of the Ordre des chimistes du Québec (Quebec Order of Chemists). He holds a master's degree in organic chemistry obtained through a dual degree program between Morocco and France, as well as a doctorate in lignocellulosic materials science and engineering from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR). His research focuses on the functionalization of lignocellulosic fibers, textile finishing processes, and textile recycling. He takes an innovative approach based on the principles of the circular economy, aiming to improve the sustainability and performance of materials while promoting waste reduction. His expertise extends to the design of sustainable solutions and the development of environmentally friendly processes for the textile industry.
