Biography

With degrees in architecture (Paris, France), urban planning (Reykjavik, Iceland), research (Montpellier, France) and cabinetmaking (Montreal, Canada), Adeline combines diverse academic expertise with technical training, enabling her to approach sustainability and circular economy issues from an innovative, multidisciplinary angle. Drawing on her experience in industry, she joined the INOVEM college technology transfer center in 2022 as a researcher. She leads projects focusing on materials recovery, overcycling and eco-design, particularly in the office furniture industry, while reconciling innovation and environmental impact. Among its flagship achievements, it carried out a complete diagnosis of the Quebec office furniture industry, analyzing recovery initiatives and identifying concrete solutions to improve efficiency. She also collaborated with Hydro-Québec to design recycled furniture incorporating circular economy principles, while assessing their environmental impact and economic viability. Her work focuses on the transition of the manufacturing sector towards more responsible and sustainable practices.
