Training – Science communication
The RRECQ has partnered with BistroBrain to offer introductory training in science communication, an essential tool for transforming academic knowledge about the circular economy into tools for understanding and action for society.
Description of the training program
The one-hour training session (50 minutes of content, 10 minutes of questions) aims to provide a better understanding of what popularization is and to give participants the confidence to get started. In a relaxed and interactive style reminiscent of BistroBrain presentations, it will cover the basic concepts of science communication, such as the philosophy of attention, priming, storytelling, visuals, speech, and other quick tips. The training will be provided by BistroBrain, a non-profit organization with eight years of experience in science communication that has introduced more than 1,000 people to the field to date.
This training is offered free of charge by RRECQ and RRESS.
