The Research Chair in Technology, Sustainability, and Society (TDS Chair), in collaboration with the RRECQ, invites researchers, students, and practitioners to the second edition of its annual symposium. This event will take place on June 26, 2026 in room H1-1110 at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC).

This event, which is open to the public, aims to foster discussion and advance knowledge at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and societal issues. Participants will have the opportunity to present original research and discuss initiatives for a responsible transition.

The conference will address topics such as:

  • technology and digital innovation
  • societal impacts
  • circular economy
  • responsible finance

A call for papers is open until June 15, 2026.

The symposium “Technology, Sustainability, Society: Building a Responsible Transition” is organized by the TDS Chair, in collaboration with the RRECQ, and features the participation of Myriam Ertz, co-lead of the RRECQ’s Research Axis 1 and professor at UQAC.
