The webinar on October 3rd will feature Ms. Catherine Chevauché, president of the technical committee responsible for drafting the ISO 590XX standards related to the circular economy. Ms. Chevauché will present the fundamental principles of these standards, such as the evaluation of resource flows, the traceability of secondary materials, and the resilience of ecosystems. She will also discuss the concrete tools these standards offer for measuring and improving circularity within businesses and value networks. About the speaker

Catherine Chevauché is currently the Director of Circular Economy at Veolia, a company specializing in water, waste, and energy services. She is involved in developing strategies to promote sustainability and circularity within the organization. As part of her role, Catherine Chevauché plays a key role in drafting the ISO 590XX standards, which focus on the circular economy. As president of the ISO Technical Committee 323, she leads the standardization work related to this theme, involving more than 80 countries. These standards aim to establish definitions, principles, and frameworks for implementing circular business models, as well as measuring and evaluating circularity. Her expertise in climate change and the circular economy makes her a central figure in the sector, contributing to initiatives that seek to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable practices globally.
