On October 8, we'll be taking a lunchtime break to discuss the global roadmap for an inclusive circular economy developed by Chatham House.
The presentation will provide an overview of the Global Circular Economy Roadmap initiative, tracing its development from the lead-up to the Stockholm+50 conference in 2022 to this year’s Summit of the Future. Key aspects covered include stakeholder engagement, challenges, achievements, milestones, and next steps. Additionally, the presentation will highlight insights from a newly launched research paper that will be published during the Summit of the Future.
About the speaker
Patrick Schröder is senior research fellow at the Environment and Society Centre of Chatham House. He focuses is on the global transition to an inclusive circular economy, with a particular research emphasis on international policy coordination, bridging the investment gap, the role of global trade, and the contribution of the circular economy to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
