Entretiens Jacques Cartier 2026 – Aligning Roadmaps for the Circular Economy and the Energy Transition at the Metropolitan Level
On November 10, join us to discuss the links between the circular economy and the energy transition and to brainstorm concrete courses of action together.
The RRECQ, Université Clermont Auvergne, and Université du Québec à Chicoutimi invite you to participate in a major event focusing on the integration of roadmaps for the circular economy and the energy transition at the metropolitan level.
The event is designed to foster genuine dialogue and collaborative development between practice and research, and is aimed at students, researchers, and practitioners.
Through lectures, case studies, a tour of the company Réseau B, a panel discussion, and participatory roundtables, the event will bring together researchers and local stakeholders to explore the links between the circular economy and the energy transition at the metropolitan level. These discussions will provide an opportunity to compare experiences in Quebec and France, examine the synergies and tensions between these two transitions, and identify concrete courses of action to better align regional roadmaps. It is an opportunity to collectively reflect on the conditions necessary for a more coherent, sustainable, and just transition.
