Biography

Mélissa Zbacnik-D'Antonio holds a bachelor's degree in bioresource engineering (professional agronomy option) from McGill University and a master's degree in industrial engineering (circular economy option) from Polytechnique Montréal. With the CTTÉI since 2021, she accompanies and advises members of the Synergie Québec community of practice and carries out a variety of mandates, including circularity analyses and territorial industrial synergy studies.
She also specializes in material flow analyses (MFA), life cycle analyses (LCA) and material flow cost analyses (MFCA). The latter represent important awareness-raising and decision-making tools for the CTTÉI's applied research projects, carried out in the field with companies and local authorities.
Ms. Zbacnik-D'Antonio applies multiple analysis methods to support organizations, territories and the Synergie Québec community in measuring the economic, social and environmental impacts of their circular economy initiatives.
