RECYC-QUÉBEC is partnering with RRECQ to support an innovative research project that will provide a better understanding of how internal and external sources of influence within an organization determine management’s commitment to the circular economy. The project will also identify approaches to be adopted by different types of organizations in Quebec to encourage them to implement circularity strategies, including sound waste management.
Funding of $75,000 has been awarded to an interdisciplinary research team led by Myriam Ertz, professor of marketing at the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi.
“We are very pleased to be partnering with RRECQ and RECYC-QUÉBEC on this transformative project, which places Quebec businesses and their leaders at the heart of the circular transition. By bringing together an interdisciplinary and intersectoral team of researchers and partners in the field, our approach will identify concrete levers for action and communication to accelerate the transition, while taking into account obstacles and their potentially undesirable effects,” said researcher Myriam Ertz on behalf of the research team.
