Description

Organized as part of the fifth edition of the International Citizens’ Forum for Interdisciplinary Education and Research (FCIERI), the symposium “Reinventing Economic And Circular Transition for Tomorrow – REACT2026” aims to bring together a variety of expertise to examine the concrete conditions for implementing circular transition trajectories that are both inclusive and systemic. The event provides a forum for discussion, bringing together scientific analysis, regional initiatives, and organizational innovations with the aim of strengthening collective capacities to design, test, and evaluate sustainable economic models adapted to local realities.

This conference is open to a wide range of participants: members of the scientific community, professionals, representatives of public and private organizations, associations, and citizens wishing to share research results, experiences, or forward-looking visions.

Proposals are expected to cover a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, economics, humanities and social sciences, as well as fundamental sciences such as chemistry, biology, and physics, all of which can be used to shed light on the challenges of the circular transition.

This interdisciplinarity is a central pillar of the event: it allows theoretical knowledge and observations from the field to be combined in order to produce systemic responses to contemporary environmental, social, and economic challenges.
