Organized by the French Interdisciplinary Association for Research in Circular Economy (AIFREC) and Circulades, the “Circular Economy – Interdisciplinary Conference 2026” brings together international researchers working on the following topics (non-exhaustive list):

  • Circular product and system design
  • Circular economy and policy integration
  • Resource recovery, remanufacturing, and waste valorization
  • Modelling and digital tools for circular transitions
  • Social equity and behavioral aspects in circular systems
  • Circular business models and financing
  • Impacts, environmental issues, sustainability, key indicators
  • Transitions to circular economy

The conference will be held from July 1 to 3, 2026, in Toulouse, France, and a call for papers is open until December 15, 2025.

This conference is organized by the Association Interdisciplinaire Française pour la Recherche en Économie Circulaire (AIFREC) and Circulades, in partnership with the RRECQ. This collaboration is fully in line with our mission to mobilize scientific expertise and strengthen links between research and practice, both locally and internationally.
