Salwa Cherkaoui El Baraka is an urban architect, authorized to undertake projects in her own name. She pursues a dual professional and academic career. As an international consultant, she engages in resilient and committed territorial development and urban renewal projects in France and the Middle East. Additionally, Salwa is a doctoral researcher at the esteemed Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, specifically within the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, which is ranked as the second-best architecture faculty globally according to the QS rankings. Her research focuses on the advantages and limitations of reusing excavated land as a form of frugal construction material.
