Biography

Raphael is a materials science researcher at Vestechpro, the textile innovation technology transfer center affiliated with Cégep Marie-Victorin. He holds a degree in materials engineering and a master's degree in engineering with a concentration in energy, during which he led a research project on the revalorization of post-industrial waste. His expertise covers materials chemistry (especially polymers), mechanical and thermomechanical recycling, and advanced materials, including those used in microelectronics. At Vestechpro, he works mainly on the development of closed-loop textile recycling solutions, using his technical skills to support the transition to a more circular and sustainable textile industry.
