Biography

Charles-Éric Bernier has been with the Communauté métropolitaine de Québec (CMQuébec) since 2014, and currently holds the position of Environment Director. A member of the Ordre des urbanistes du Québec (OUQ), Mr. Bernier holds a bachelor's degree in geography as well as a master's degree in regional planning and development from Université Laval. Over the years, Mr. Bernier has participated in the writing of numerous reports in the environmental and land-use planning fields. He is particularly interested in issues relating to the protection of water and natural environments, the impacts of climate change, waste management and sustainable land-use planning.
