Biography

Ahmad Ibrahim holds a PhD in physical chemistry, an engineering degree in formulation chemistry, a master's degree in advanced materials research and a master's degree in project management. He is currently a textile research chemist and holds the Ecotextile Research Chair within the CTT Group. Specializing in the development of materials, products and processes with a low ecological footprint, he is actively involved in the design of innovative solutions aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the textile and advanced materials sector. His expertise covers the development of sustainable technical textiles, the integration of biobased and recycled materials, and the optimization of manufacturing processes to minimize energy consumption and pollutant emissions. He also conducts research into the circularity of textile materials, exploring advanced strategies for recycling, controlled biodegradation and valorization of textile fibers via biotechnological processes. Through his collaborations with industrial companies, academic institutions and research centers, Ahmad Ibrahim contributes to the development of eco-responsible solutions for the textile, advanced polymers and functional coatings sectors. With an integrated vision of sustainable development and technological innovation, he works at the CTT Group to shape tomorrow's industry by proposing high-performance, environmentally-friendly alternatives.
