Through an analysis of 9 country-level circular economy roadmaps, the presentation will highlight the main trends in circular economy public policy in recent years. First, it will compare the methodologies employed by countries to develop and implement roadmaps. Secondly, the presentation will examine the types of strategies and actions deployed to set the transition to the circular economy in motion.

Trained as a lawyer, Élise Rucquoi has worked for law firms and non-profit organizations in France. Always very concerned about the impact of human activities on the environment, Élise came to Quebec to reinforce her commitment by completing the DESS in Management – Sustainable Development at HEC Montréal. As part of this program, she collaborated with Professor Emmanuel Raufflet on a project involving the mapping of roadmaps in circular economics.
