The RRECQ and CIRODD invite researchers, practitioners, decision-makers, and citizens to submit a proposal for a presentation at the 613 conference entitled “Building bridges between research and stakeholders for a circular, sustainable, and regenerative impact.”

This conference will take place on Thursday, May 14, and Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and online, as part of the Acfas Congress.

While circularity and sustainability occupy a central place in scientific literature, their implementation remains complex for decision-makers, who are often faced with constraints in terms of resources, knowledge, and regulatory frameworks. This situation raises questions about the ability of circular economy (CE) research to provide concrete support for action in the field, particularly through the co-construction of knowledge and the development of methodologies that promote the sustainable adoption of innovations.

In a context where territorial and sectoral transitions require increased collaboration, it is becoming essential to understand how scientific production can be transformed into a lever for collective innovation, social cohesion, and the regeneration of social and natural systems. This call therefore invites reflection on the conditions, tools, and indicators that can strengthen the capacity for action of stakeholders and make the circular economy and sustainability drivers of societal transformation.

The conference will focus on five main themes:

  • Circular practices in organizations
  • The dissemination of innovations
  • Economic and circular activity areas
  • Sectoral perspectives: diversity and specificities
  • Circularity, sustainability, and regeneration

By bringing together a variety of stakeholders and highlighting innovative projects, this conference aims to accelerate the transition to an inclusive and resilient circular economy. It provides a space for collective reflection to develop concrete solutions, promote the advancement of knowledge, and foster new collaborations in circularity and sustainability.
