Biography

Valérie LAFOREST, Research Director at Mines Saint-Etienne, is in charge of the Environmental Engineering for Organizations department within the Institut Fayol/ Mines Saint-Etienne/IMT and is a member of the UMR 5600 Environnement Ville Société. Her research activities concern the development of tools and methods for the environmental assessment of industrial systems, with a particular focus on environmental technologies such as best available techniques. She is also interested in the operationalization of circular economy strategies, and more specifically in the characterization of territorial potential in terms of industrial and territorial ecology strategies.
