Biography

Mélissa Zbacnik-D’Antonio holds a bachelor's degree in bioresource engineering (professional agronomy option) from McGill University and a master's degree in industrial engineering (circular economy option) from Polytechnique Montréal. At CTTÉI since 2021, she supports organizations, communities, and territories in their strategic choices regarding the circular economy and sustainable development. To do so, she uses a variety of analytical tools tailored to her clients' needs, such as circularity analysis, industrial synergy studies, life cycle assessment (LCA), material flow analysis (MFA), and material flow cost analysis (MFCA). These approaches are essential levers for raising awareness and supporting decision-making for applied research projects conducted by the CTTÉI.
