Biography

Salma holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Management and specializes in sustainable socio-economic development and regional transition. Her thesis, focused on the Fez-Meknes region, examined strategies for economic and social transformation from a perspective of sustainability and innovation. She incorporated the principles of the circular economy through the study of local resource recovery, eco-responsible waste management, and the development of production models that promote reuse, sharing, and the creation of shared value. Her career has enabled her to acquire solid experience in territorial analysis, public policy management, and support for sustainable transition strategies. Her areas of interest include the circular economy, territorial governance, social responsibility, and green innovation. Salma wishes to continue her work in an office focused on regional development and the circular economy, in order to contribute to the design and implementation of sustainable solutions adapted to local realities, while integrating international best practices in sustainability and economic resilience.
