Biography

Michel Rioux has over 30 years' experience in business performance improvement. Having worked for over ten years in industry as an engineer and manager, he has been a regular professor in the Systems Engineering Department of the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) since 2001, and a part-time Innovation Commissioner at the Centre d'expertise industrielle de Montréal since 2020. Through his Centre d'innovation et de productivité (CIP), he focuses his research, his students and his mandates on helping his industrial partners to perform better by supporting them in their organizational, technological and digital transformation by jointly developing a roadmap well adapted to their situation.

He is recognized for his expertise in innovation, operations and logistics, maintenance and reliability, asset management, experimental design, multidimensional data analysis, economic justification, Industry 4.0, equipment as a service and digital transformation coaching processes.
