Biography

Dr. Laurent BAZINET studied agri-food at the École Supérieure d'Agriculture D'Angers (France), where he obtained his agricultural engineering diploma in 1993. He continued his university studies at Université Laval (Québec, Québec), where he obtained a Master's degree (1994) and a Ph.D. (2000) in food science and technology. Since July 2002, he has been a professor in the Department of Food Science at Université Laval, and is an active member of the Institut des Nutraceutiques et des Aliments Fonctionnels (INAF) and the Centre de Recherche en Sciences et Technologies du Lait (STELA).
