Biography

Hédia Mhiri Sellami holds an engineering degree and a Ph.D. in computer science from the Faculty of Sciences in Tunis. She also holds a postdoctoral degree from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion de Tunis (ISG). After a career as an engineer, she transitioned to a career as a university professor of computer science at ISG, where she currently heads the Department of Computer Science. She is a member of ISG’s Smart Lab, and her research focuses on the use of AI and ICT to improve teaching and learning. She has also explored the use of serious games to raise awareness of the SDGs. She is the author of several academic publications and also received the first prize in 2022 for Innovation and Learning from the European Training Foundation.
