Biography

Evelyne Thiffault is a forest engineer (graduated from Université Laval in 2001), and holds a PhD in forest sciences (2006), also from Université Laval. She is Professor in the Department of Wood and Forest Sciences, and Scientific Director of Forêt Montmorency, a teaching and research forest. Her work focuses on the role of forestry in the energy transition and climate change mitigation.
