Biography

Diego holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. From the beginning of his doctoral studies until 2018, he joined the Engineering Department of the French National Railway Company (SNCF), developing expertise in the fields of materials and the design of railway and road structures. Subsequently, he joined the technical department of Eiffage Infrastructures, the fourth-largest European construction company, where he led the innovation policy for the railway sector and managed projects related to fifth-generation road technologies. Since 2021, he has been a professor in the Department of Construction Engineering at ÉTS, focusing on innovative materials and technologies for road and railway infrastructure.
