Aude Porcedda

Department of Leisure, Culture, and Tourism Studies at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), where she has been working since 2017, following a decade devoted to research in the museum sector. Her work focuses on the transformations of cultural and museum organizations, change management, and the conditions of transition in cultural ecosystems.

Involved in the development of Quebec’s Agenda 21 for Culture, she has developed expertise in the relationships between culture, sustainable development, governance, and organizational transformation. Her current research focuses in particular on the socio-ecological transition of cultural organizations, new governance models, and the links between culture, health, inclusion, and universal accessibility.

As the author of monographs, edited volumes, and scholarly articles, she co-edited Museums and Ecology: Missions, Commitments, and Practices (La Documentation française, 2026) and Museums for All: Perspectives on Universal Accessibility (Hermann, 2025). She is also co-editing issue 47 of the journal Culture & Musées, dedicated to museums and culture in transition. Deeply involved in cultural circles, she fosters collaborations in Quebec, Canada, and internationally. Finally, she directs Collection 21 at Éditions Hermann (Paris), a series dedicated to contemporary cultural issues.
