Biography

Aakash Malik (24 y/o) is pursuing a Ph.D. in Lignocellulosic Materials Science and Engineering at the I2E3 - Innovations Institute in Ecomaterials, Ecoproducts, and Ecoenergies of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (Canada). He received his Master's degree in Biorefinery with honours (2021), which was supported by UCCS (Unité de Catalyse et Chimie du Solide) UMR CNRS 8181 Laboratory, from the École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille - Université de Lille (France). He conducted his Master's thesis at the GEPEA (GEnie des Procédés Environnement - Agroalimentaire) UMR CNRS 6144 Laboratory of the IMT Atlantique Bretagne-Pays de la Loire (France). Subsequently, he joined the Laboratory of Biofuels as a Visiting Research Student at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (Czech Republic) after completing his Master's degree. In 2020, he graduated from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (India) with a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering with a Specialization in Refining and Petrochemicals degree.
